Fear The Walking Dead - The Complete Third Season

In last season's 15-episode arc of "Fear the Walking Dead," the blended family in zombie-filled Los Angeles leaped aboard "The Abigail" and sailed toward better days in San Diego, CA. The closing show, after forcing viewers to slog through a brief lollygagging season, saw an exploding apocalypse on the horizon, and it seemed no one was going to make it out alive.

"Fear the Walking Dead - The Complete Third Season" improves upon the dramatic scenarios presented in the sophomore season. Spread out over 4 discs on a once-again attractive Blu-ray set, fans of the show will be in heaven with this release.

The characters that constantly battle the undead and each other in "Fear the Walking Dead" ended up in the war-torn border of the U.S. and Mexico in this third season.

But just when they all thought it was safe to go back into society, the crew soon discovers that zombies are just as dangerous in Mexico as they were in Los Angeles. Like all dysfunctional situations, tensions arise and characters split up along the way. Naturally, the final episode sees a major character facing a life-altering decision and ends the third season of "Fear the Walking Dead" in cliffhanger mode.

Discs 1, 2, and 3 on the DVD set include audio commentaries for many of the episodes. Otherwise, "Deleted Scenes" can be found on disc four; most episodes had scenes that were left on the cutting room floor and these can be viewed here.

And that's all you're going to get in the special features department in this third season DVD set of "Fear the Walking Dead." The much lower price of the DVD justifies the smaller amount of extras this time around.

This sleeper of an AMC show comes back for a fourth season very soon. Will it last just as long as its companion show, "The Walking Dead"?
