Union Square Cafe Finds New Home in NYC

New York's popular Union Square Cafe has found a new home in Manhattan.
The restaurant announced last summer that it would have to move because of rising rent.
The New York Times says the restaurant's owner, Danny Meyer, said Wednesday that the restaurant will move next year to Park Avenue South and 19th Street. It's two blocks from its Union Square location which will close in December.
The new location is now occupied by City Crab & Seafood Company.
Meyer says his Union Square Hospitality Group will renovate the basement and first floor of the building. City Crab will close in September.
Meyer says he will try to place City Crab's 75 employees within his own holdings, which include Gramercy Tavern and the new Untitled at the Whitney Museum.
