Dutch Swimmer Arno Kamminga's Teases with Revealing Swim Trunks
Emell Adolphus READ TIME: 1 MIN.
Only a few elite athletes manage to take home gold medals during the Olympic Games, but Dutch swimmer Arno Kamminga has managed to walk away a winner in the court of public opinion.
During his race, Olympic fans were convinced that he was competing only in a revealing speedo. But upon closer inspection, Kamminga was actually wearing power skin trunks, used to help streamline a swimmers body.
The style can be seen on many Olympic athletes at the Paris games, but there was something about Kamminga's flesh tone in the shorts that made it look like he was going in the nude to viewers.
Comments lusting after Kamminga ranged from lewd to loving.
"I'm not from the UK, Hun... but I have abbreviated my entire Olympics experience (so far) to the Dutch swimmer, Arno Kamminga," wrote one social media commentator.
Another added, "80k LIKES FOR KAMMINGA THIRST CONTENT I forgot what happens to this sport every four years."
And then there was what we all think about when the Olympics rolls around:
"I love how the #Olympics bring out the best, most competitive, most athletic aspect of the greatest athletes in the world," wrote Outsports writer Cyd Zeigler. "And, literally since their inception, there's been a homoerotic nature to the Olympics. This Dutch swimmer is just the latest."
So far, Kamminga has not addressed his newfound fame. But if he has access to the internet, something tells us that he knows.
Congratulations on winning over the public, Kamminga.
