'OITNB' Star Samira Wiley and Writer Lauren Morelli Tie the Knot

This weekend, "Orange Is the New Black" star Samira Wiley tied the knot with her partner, show writer Lauren Morelli, on Saturday, March 25, in a special ceremony in Palm Springs, surrounded by family and friends.

People Magazine reported that the couple chose a confetti-themed bash, celebrating their mutual fondness of Pillsbury Funfetti cake.

The 29-year-old star's parents officiated the ceremony, and the couple chose "This Is How We Do It" by Montell Jordan for their recessional. They entered their reception dancing to Justin Bieber's "Baby."

Both spouses were outfitted by Christian Siriano, with Wiley in a white off the shoulder dress, and her partner in a white lace-fronted jumpsuit with a cape. Martha Stewart Weddings shared a photo from the event on Instagram and will feature the wedding in an upcoming issue.�

Huffington Post reports that Morelli divorced her husband of two years in 2014, after realizing she was gay. She came out that same year via an essay in Mic and began dating Wiley.

"Samira became my outlet, and through that process I fell in love with her," Morelli told OUT Magazine in December. "But I thought, This will be the one that got away. Being with her felt too good to be true."
