Angel Arias, 23, a member of the Latin Kings gang, has been charged with Walker's murder.

Additionally, Shade Schuler, 22, was found dead on July 29 in Dallas. Her body was in a field and was so decomposed, it took the authorities two weeks to identify her from her tattoos. According to Gay Star News, local police have used the wrong gender to refer to Schuler, who was shot to death.

The body of Amber Monroe, 20, was found on Aug. 8 in Detroit, Mich. According to local reports, she was last seen at 6 Mile and Woodward, a popular area for local trans people. Police claim Monroe, who was shot at least two times, was a sex worker.
