Kilian Melloy READ TIME: 5 MIN.
On Wednesday night, we started out at Progress for their new (3 weeks old now) Amanda Austin's Lip Service Wednesdays, which is drawing in the crowds. Afterwards we headed down to South Beach for the 22nd anniversary of Twist, which, as usual, was packed. Congrats to owners Joel and Richard, as well as the entire staff for 22 fagulous years, and we're wishing them many more years of success!
On Friday Equality Florida's Marriage Announcement Rallies took place all over the state. In Broward, the Post-Marriage Rally took place at Rumors, which was also packed. On Saturday, Impulse Group, in partnership with C&I Studio, put on a fashion show during the monthly Art Walk block party. As usual, Impulse had super cute guys to spread their important message. This weekend was the annual St. Pete Pride Parade and Festival. I was told from the Hotspots staff that went up there that they drew record numbers. Congrats to Eric and Robert and the entire organizing team at St. Pete Pride.
