Katy Perry :: Watch Her 'Roar'

Jason St. Amand READ TIME: 1 MIN.

Pop star goofball Katy Perry has released the video for her mid-tempo jam "Roar."

In the video, we find Perry stranded in a jungle with a hunk who can't stop taking selfies. A tiger later attacks him, leaving the singer to fend for herself. Perry takes the advice given in her own song and finds the strength and power to learn how to survive in the wild (thanks to the help of a monkey and elephant).

In typical Perry fashion, the singer later has a "roar-off" with a tiger, paints an elephant's toenails, and has a photo session with a monkey (she takes pictures with a cell phone but never thinks about trying to call for help).

"Roar," produced by Dr. Luke and Cirkut, debuted on Billboard at number two but is currently the number one song in America, dethroning Robin Thicke's "Blurred Lines" and beating out Lady Gaga's "Applause."
