Rapper Tyga Caught Spewing Anti-Gay Language

The rap world seems to be experiencing a sea change when it comes to the LGBT community. Last year Frank Ocean announced he was once in love with a man and a number of artists lauded the R&B star. Now, rap duo Macklemore & Ryan Lewis' song "Same Love" is currently number 11 on Billboard. The sleeper single is about marriage equality and is on the rise, reflecting the rap community's changing views on the LGBT community and gay marriage.

But rapper Tyga doesn't seem to be interested in any of this as TMZ caught him using anti-gay language outside Supperclub in Hollywood this week.

A TMZ photographer asked the rapper about the two $10 million lawsuits he's facing from women who say their nipples were exposed in his music video.

"Look at my car. Do I look like I care about a lawsuit, bruh??" Tyga said. "What you got a camera for? That's gay as shit."

"You got a camera on a nigga ... go in [the club] and get some bitches," he continued. The photographer then explained he was only doing his job, Tyga yelled back, "That's a gay ass job."

In a related incident that occurred earlier this year, rising rapper Azealia Banks made headlines when she called celebrity blogger Perez Hilton a "faggot" on Twitter.

After the e-feud, GLAAD issued a statement, slamming Banks' remarks.

"Regardless of her intent or her personal definition, what matters is the meaning given to that word by those who hear it, and the damage it causes when they do," the statement reads. "Undoubtedly there are gay kids who follow her on Twitter who hear this word in an entirely different context. This word is used almost universally by bullies, often as part of a larger verbal or physical assault. This word hurts those kids, no matter what Banks meant by it."
