A former Ultimate Fighting Championship fighter has filed a lawsuit against a sexual performance gel company and claims that the gel permanently damaged his penis, TMZ reports.

Waylon Lowe, 32, is suing Kama Sutra Pleasure Balm Prolonging Gel after purchasing their product at a sex store in Philadelphia (it should be noted that some sources, including Philly.com report the Lowe is suing the sex store).

The gel is supposed to desensitize the penis and enhance stamina but the athlete says the gel ruined his man parts and that he can no longer ejaculate.

TMZ writes, "He lathered the gel on his junk and then covered it with a Trojan Magnum latex condom and began having sex with his fiance." They didn't have sex for long, however, as they were interrupted by their baby's crying, coming from the next room. While the mixed martial arts fighter's fiance went to check on their daughter, Lowe says he started "experiencing excruciating pain in the penis," TMZ says. He then took off the condom and says, "he was horrified to see a significantly swelled penis."

The athlete went to the emergency room and suffered "catastrophic and permanent damage." He also says he has permanent scarring and disfigurement, permanent loss of sensation, permanent loss of functioning, permeate nerve damage and can no longer ejaculate.

He is suing for at least $50,000. TMZ notes that Lowe "strongly insinuates in the lawsuit" that the damage was a result of putting the condom over the gel, even though the label says it's fine to do so.

Officials from the Kama Sutra Company told TMZ that the athlete has no lawsuit and that their product has worked safely without any problems for four decades. According to Philly.com, the sex shop where Lowe bought the gel has removed the product.

Lowe filed his lawsuit on May 14.
