Sydney Mardi Gras turned 30 this year, and the Parade and Party were campier and glitzier than ever.

The evening started with a 4 kilometer parade of over 150 floats that hundreds of thousands of people packed the streets of Sydney to watch. Then 18,000 plus party-goers descended on the Fox Studio complex for a night of raucous action that included a surprise performance of Xanadu by Olivia Newton-John at 4am and Girls Just Wanna Have Fun by Cyndi Lauper at 8am. Partygoers included Queer Eye for the Straight Guy's Carson, Margaret Cho and a slew of sexy sexy Aussies.
